Glad Days for Epilepsy!
Come out and have a glad day by buying
flowers! Gladioli are sold throughout Canada to increase public
awareness of epilepsy. Glad Days will be held in Zurich on
Thursday August 5th and Friday August 6th at the Canada Post
Office. All money raised remains in our community to support those
affected by epilepsy and to provide educational programs in the

in August - The Zurich Bean Festival
Annual Event

Our event kicks off on Friday with the annual
car cruise, leaving the Zurich Community Centre at
7 p.m.
and ending at dusk with the spectacular fireworks show. On Saturday the pancake
and sausage breakfast begins at
7 am
on the ice surface, followed by the “bean meal” which consists of a smoked pork
chop, applesauce, coleslaw, bun and our famous baked beans. Our midway and
street market lasts all day, as does one of the largest custom rod and antiques
car shows. Hey, we get about 800 cars, it’s quite something to see!!
